Coming soon >> Tetine present Turkish Bath at SONARSOUND São Paulo in Septenber

Turkish Bath is Tetine’s brand new audiovisual installation made up of four large scale projections, realtime audio and original soundtrack, performed in the galery space which is made into a hot sauna with essences, white towels and smoking machines.

The participants are men who belong to different social classes, nationalities and age groups. The images were taken as "pre-performance", based primarily upon the relationship between Tetine and the participant, the masculine and the private, including the clash with shame, embarrassment and exhibitionism – between intrusion and acceptance, between activity and passivity.

A key element in the project concept is the sound of the installation. The original soundtrack happens on and off in the space, leaning towards electro-funk (erotic disco-punk with vocals and atmospheric orchestral pieces). Meanwhile, samples of the project’s pre-performances with original audio are convivially together in the same space from the four headphones available for visitors. Including Tetine appearences playing one hour experimental live sets in the environmnet.
